Will you deal with all my debts in a Debt Management Plan?
We can only deal with your unsecured and non-priority debts.
These include:
1. Personal loans
2. Credit cards
3. Store cards
4. Overdrafts
5. Catalogue debts
6. Utility / Mobile / Telephone bills (only if the service has been terminated)
You must ensure your priority payments are kept up to date on any debts which cannot be included on your
debt management plan. Examples of debts that cannot be included are your rent or mortgage, utility bills from your current service provider, other secured debts and council tax.
Typically you need to make 3 full monthly contracted repayments on any unsecured loan before a creditor will consider accepting a reduced monthly repayment on a DMP.
