Welsh debt management counselling 'is fundamental'

Welsh debt management counselling 'is fundamental'

- Thursday, 11 June 2009

Financial charity Credit Action has noted that it is "fundamental" that Welsh debt management advice be available.

Director Chris Tapp admits that the charity's own Welsh debt management counselling has, in the past, not covered monetary issues "as thoroughly as we would have liked".

But he adds that it is essential for all parts of the country to be given help in light of the importance attached to maintaining a healthy financial standing.

"So many people find money a confusing subject and yet it's so fundamental," he says.

As well as the need for Welsh debt management advice, the charity stresses the need for guidance on related issues such as negative equity and redundancy.

Consumers looking for Welsh debt management counselling or advice in any other region of the UK could look to DebtFixers as one source of guidance.

DebtFixers can advise on the best kind of debt solution based on an individual's circumstances and can negotiate with creditors to reduce monthly outgoings.ADNFCR-2300-ID-19213680-ADNFCR
